In most regions of the world, people born between 1997 and 2010 are called Generation Z, or Gen Z for short. In China, however, a different name for some young people of this generation is used to describe a distinct attitude towards life and work—the Zen Generation, or Gen Zen. Many young people of Gen Zen have a “let it be” attitude. Reports note that they do not like competition and try to avoid stressful jobs on purpose.
